The feeling of driving back home from work everyday in one of worlds' most congested cities, waiting for the weekend by the minute and wishing once it comes, it never ends. Sounds familiar? Wide open spaces; no sound but the hum of your ears and that distant rush of the river flowing nearby; not a human being around for miles in any direction but the wind carrying the sound of a chime from a nearby monastery. ITINERARY

DAY 1: MUMBAI - DELHI

Board a late night flight to Delhi.

DAY 2: DELHI - LEH

Upon arrival in Delhi from Mumbai, board a connecting flight from Delhi to Leh. Upon arrival in Leh, transfer to the hotel. After enjoying breakfast, enjoy a full-day relaxing at the hotel (Note: It is important to have a full day of rest in order to get acclimatized to the climate and high altitude. Leh is approximately 12000 feet above sea level). Thereafter, enjoy dinner and a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 3: LEH

After enjoying breakfast, embark on a half-day sightseeing tour of Sankar Gompa, Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace. Enjoy the evening at leisure freely walking around the bazaar. Stay overnight at the hotel in Leh.

DAY 4: EXCURSION TO SHAM VALLEY (80 KMS ROUND TRIP)

After enjoying breakfast, drive to Sangam. En route, visit the Magnetic Hill and Gurudwara Patthar Sahib. Also visit the confluence of River Zanskar and River Indus. Thereafter, drive back to Leh. En route, visit the Spituk Monastery, Kali Mata Temple and Ladakh Hall of Fame. After arriving at your hotel in Leh, enjoy dinner and a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 5: LEH - NUBRA VIA KHARDUNG LA PASS (140 KMS/ 5 - 6 HOURS)

Early morning, proceed to Nubra Valley via the worlds' highest motorable road Khardung La Pass (5602 metres). Upon arrival at Nubra, proceed for a visit to the white Sand Dunes of Hunder. Here, enjoy a camel ride (at your own expenses). Thereafter, visit Hunder and Deskit monasteries (subject to availibility of time) and check into a Deluxe Camp. Enjoy the evening at leisure. Stay overnight at the camp.

DAY 6: NUBRA - LEH

After enjoying breakfast, proceed to Leh, once again, driving via Khardung La pass, the worlds' highest motorable road. Enjoy the evening exploring Leh bazaar (market) for souvenirs and visiting Leh Jokhang or Leh Mosque on foot. Stay overnight at the hotel.

DAY 7: EXCURSION TO PANGONG LAKE (280 KMS ROUND TRIP)

After enjoying breakfast, drive to Pangong Lake on the Indo China border. In the evening, return to the hotel in Leh for dinner. Stay overnight at the hotel.

DAY 8: LEH

Enjoy the day at leisure.

DAY 9: LEH - DELHI

Early morning, transfer to the airport. Depart from Leh to Delhi by flight. Breakfast will be served onboard. Upon arrival in Delhi, board a connecting flight to Mumbai.
